Music: Busted – Thunderbirds are go

For those who last time watch the Thunderbirds series back in the 90s, they would probably know what am I discussing on. I remember last time I used to watch Thunderbirdson TV 2 every Sunday morning around 9 like that. It was during my primary days if I can recall back. In 2004, there’s a remake of the Thunderbirds. The movie come out with new design of the Thunderbirds which is basically more futuristic. Above all, I always like Thunderbird 2.Why? Thunderbird 2 is the most biggest one of them all!

But once you getting more and more older, you start to realize that is it plausible for we to have such design of an aircraft?? I learn about Bernouli’s equation. Because of of the small area of the wing span, it is impossible for such aircarft to fly.? Based on the Lift equation:

• A = surface Area of the wing


• P = Pressure value


• n = normal unit vector pointing into the wing


• k = vertical unit vector, normal to the free stream direction

Thus this can related to the Bernouli’s principle where if there’s low pressure, it will become a nature from the low pressure to become high pressure. Thus, lift is generated.

However, from the design we have on the TB2, I don’t think it could fly because of the small area? of the wing span.

Anyhow, how do you explain this such design which almost the same as TB2 could fly?
