Good day again !! i just finish uploaded all the photos of this so-called MEX ’ 05. It a exibition held by mgmt students. Got a last minute request and then i go straight took photos. Luckily i have Dave to work beside me if not i rather have to work alone since i hardly know everyone from mgmt fac. those who happens to read this and want to see the photos may click the link down below.

I’ve uploaded all the photos of members of the commitee. btw this is the first time i saw a comittee they are consist almost 300 members. Hahaha. the event went smoothly, and most important for me, i managed to finish my job well. i believe these mgmt student gonna be so eager to see the photos and will upload them at their frenster, my space, wht else huh ?? u name it urself lah ! Hehehe. Do enjoy the photos. and if u didnt satisfy with the photos, dun blame me arrr. Hahahahaa.

Actually i’m not gonna highlight about this MEX ’ 05. But wht im gonna tell another u an issue regarding to PROTON and PERODUA along with MAS and AIR ASIA.

Wht do these company have in common ? well, BOTH make cars and BOTH provide airline travelling. And the same time, the other TWO bigger companies are facing total loss. If we look at the other TWO smaller companies, those two have different reflection compare to MAS and PROTON. How come AIR ASIA and PERODUA can be better than PROTON and MAS after all PROTON and MAS should have bring a better range of service and products ??

Recently, the papers annouced that MAS’s had appointed thier new managing director(MD), Idris Jala as the successor from Datuk Ahmad Fuad Dahalan. Statistic released after the former MD sudden retire on 22 Aug 2005 said that MAS loss almost RM 280.7 millions [ yes, believe me there’s no typing error ] for the April-June quarter [ source: frontpage NST friday sept 9 2005 ] . Wtf ? Last time wrecked by Tajuddin Ramli, and now ? We all hope Idris Jala delivers a better preformance like Datuk Tony Fernandez. And currently Air Asia have sign a deal between the richest football club in the world Manchester United regarding to their Asian tour as the Official Airline. Isn’t tht soooo cool ?

Wht happen to Proton ??? well, i ask u one simple question where u can answer it urself. Between Myvi and Savvy, whch one is getting more and more to be found on the road ? Savvy’s launch was just a week late from Myvi and Savvy’s publicity…..voila, until they come out an idea with Marvel-based comics. But Myvi still dominating the local market. Wht say u? if u didn’t agree with me, i’ll be glad to hear the ‘why’ from u. juz send me feedbacks. it shows the marketing of Myvi are higher compare to Savvy. Wht more can u say other than selling when it comes to business ? welcome to the real world of capitalism…

Oklah, i think i better stop now. I’m not gonna write long this time. like u all gonna give a damn wht the heck am i talking about. Life goes on either one way or the other, right?

hello there again. for the past few days has been a very productive for me. Went to watch theatre on Friday night, then went Jonker walk on Saturday night where i have Baba Chendol and Ice-Cream goreng. Yummy !! Now i am starting to concentrate on my finals. Feels like wanna fell in love but i think i am not fully prepare yet. Hehehe. Now tht i always write on politics, i think i might wanna write something else tht i believe u can also learn. I gonna tell u about a new phenomenom where human are hardly take full advantage of it. It was a give from God the we all should take advantage of. But we all people even rarely know wht kind phenomenom is it. I gonn tell u about another God’s sign which only can be seen in water, which was called Supercavitation.

ok ok, let me tell u one by one cos i believe my readers all are not engineering students.Regarding to the topic, u must be wondering wht is Supercavitaiton all about, right? This word seems so familiar, but what is it all about, huh? It derives from the word cavitation where according to wikipedia:

From wht i been thinking, since Supercavitation only can be form during high speed in waters, therefore i think we can use it as a transport from one place to another with a design that will be almost looks like a submerine or maybe an Jet Aircarft.

So far the only technology tht has been put to test is made by the Russian through military and warfare. It was called the VA-111 Shkval(“Squall”) torpedo. Check the picture attached. It was said tht this torpedo can travel as fast as 230 mph which is 100 m/s ! Compare to the top speed of conventional aquatic craft which is just 80 mph (35 m/s). But the design makes the Shkval torpedo unsteerable. Maybe is was because it just too fast to control. Maybe lah. And u know sumthing, this Shkval topedo already develop in 1977, only in the 1990s the news came to West( Americans lah, saper lagi?! ). The Russians manage to put this to secrecy for almost 13 years! The breakthrough is due to the sunken nuclear sub in Barents Sea, Kursk where all 181 crewmen died. They Russian rejected help from outsiders eventhough they claim is just a civil operation rather than ‘military experiment’. During this time, some rumours said that they were experimenting the Shkval torpedo. Shkval torpedo only can be carried by Akula type subs (for American, these subs are classified as Typhoon Class, where only 6 of them can be found in this world.). And Kursk is one of them.

Recently in 2004, the Germans are trying to develop another one called Barracuda. According to this article, Barracuda have the speed of 800 km/h! Wow! Shkval’s speed was 350 km/h, 4 times fast as the conventional torpedoes, but the barracuda is already 800 km/h!

Good question. Patience, u see, mostly people on this earth need to develop it in warfare use and than they will apply it for public use only after it has proven the safety of its usage. In US’s magazine, Science fiction, they mention that one day they be a supercavitation craft. Therefore, this is not impossible. We will be able to fly in the water oneday. And according to Scientific American, also a US magazine, they say “warp-drive underwater” will not be possible.

Well, since it was a very very very new technology, your guess is just as good as mine and along with other engineers/scientist who working on it. The advantage tht u might agree of is that finally we can use water as our new road of travelling rather than in the land and air. regarding to the heat transfer, water is good liquid conductor, therefore i believe the heat generated from the drag will have been spread in side the water. And the temperature in Atlantic Ocean alone is about 4’C. If u fall down in the ocean, u only have 4 minutes to live before u die of Hyperthermia or extreme cold.

For the disadvantage, well, it still consump fuel. So i think the energy source is still old fashion where they will have nozzle or turbine to generate the power. Even the safety haven’t fully measured, therefore it will take a lot of time to work on it. Currently the Gemans, Russians and Americans are competeting thier way to produce the best design torpedo. So therefore, i hope at the same time, there’s an effort to make the watercraft.

We all not sure yet how supercavitation reacts. Yet experiments will be conducted. Maybe supercavitation have effects depending on the depth tht gives different types of water, or perhaps the temperature of the water could be a factor. Other than that, we could consider design of the craft that will from the supercavition. Only God knows…..

Some updates: i did share my thoughts with Dr Lim, and he said other than juz for this transportation usage, he also said the phenomenom also applies to radiation detaction. how can tht be?? i also not fully understand how it works. Ask him la if u want to know more. hahaha.
