This time my family trip was a very exciting trip. It’s a trip where we all are very happy to share and make our other family members who missed the trip jealous! It’s just my parent and I went to Cameron Highland where my dad had to attend a function about an incomplete project where Sultan Ahmad Shah, the Ruler of Pahang will be.

I was forced to tag along. At first, it was very hard for me to go. I have to wake up early this time. Huh. In the afternoon, after my father finished his function, we went around some places that we never been before. It is because a fine senior citizen, which happens to be my father’s ex-student back in Kuala Kubu Bharu circa 1978 [Don’t ask me where I was that time!].

He’s Mr Sabri. He’s been staying in Cameron Highland for more than 20 years now. Imagine living in a high place 6000 meters above sea level where the temperature at night in somewhere below 20’C. You don’t need any air condition during your sleep at night. Why? Because you’ll feel you own one! Hahaha. And some more there’s no neither shopping complex, TGV nor GSC, I can’t live without them you know!

After we went to MARDI, the bestest place is the Rose Centre where he bought us later. Since he knew the people working there, my parents and I managed to avoid the entrance fees which is RM6 for adult and RM4 for kids below 10. Just imagine many kind of roses around you. There they have all kinds of species [I don’t think so] from white, yellow, red, and even green! The garden was located at the hill slide; therefore the whole garden is like reaching to the top of the hill. And when you reach the top, you can see the whole valley. It was very very breath taking [look at the photo attached].

The best part is, this time it was rain in Cameron Highland! It was not that frequent to have rain in Cameroon Highland but I consider being lucky to have a quite heavy rain during my 2 days and 1 night trip. It rain very heavily and I never put my sweater on! [Actually I forgot to bring one] Hahaha. At night it was cold, even our 2 star hotel, which is Cool Point Hotel that we check-in have no air-cond at all. Hehehe. That explain why the name is “Cool Point???. It’s already cool enough that you didn’t need any cooling device.

My parent and I did have a dinner together with Mr Sabri. At the time, they both even my mama, shares many interesting stories during their old days working in Kuala Kubu Bharu in the 1970s. I was very quiet but happy enough to hear the stories. It was rather enjoying.
